This is a geocoin that celebrates the golden age of the working heavy horse in the
The front depicts a traditional horse brass design. These brasses were used as decoration on the harness of draft horses and were said to ward off the evil eye.
The back of the coin has a beautiful 3D relief of a Suffolk Punch, especially chosen as the rarest of all British horse breeds, with only about 150 purebreds remaining un the UK. The Punch was developed as a farm horse rather than for road haulage, so is particularly relevant to us as part of the farming community.
